Our Goal: We strive to supply only the absolute finest chains in the world at extremely competitive pricing. While we do try to keep all items continually in stock, occasional shortages will occur and we ask your patience if your chosen item is out of stock. If no back-orders are desired please specify. In order to keep ahead of the market, we will sometimes eliminate items from our program in favor of something new. Please understand this enables us to offer the latest styles and trends in chains. But we do try to overstock our classics- the items we have always sold and will always carry- so there may be no interruption of supply.
All gold items will be priced by actual weight based on the 2nd London gold price fix of the day of shipping; All sales are final only when you are satisfied with the quality and integrity of your purchase. We are confident that you will be pleased with your purchase and we hope you will never be satisfied with inferior merchandise once you are familiar with our products. All returns or claims for broken or defective goods must be made within ten days of receipt. All returns must be accompanied with a copy of the invoice from which it was purchased. (Top)
Terms: Our terms are net cash with the preferred method of payment by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We offer credit terms only to accounts with #1 rating by the Jewelers' Board of Trade. All other accounts are at our discretion. All open balances with Downeast will be expected to pay a 1.5% monthly service charge on all past-due balances.
For our accounts in good standing (minimum $1500 annual purchases and all balances maintained on a "current" basis), we offer a provisional lifetime guarantee on all our products. We will replace or repair all broken or defective merchandise except in cases of undue wear. If a replacement is not available we will supply a replacement suitable to both parties. We also offer to our accounts in good standing stock-balancing options that assure your maximum return for your gold jewelry investment. All exchanges are handled on a gram-for-gram basis to eliminate speculation and risk. To qualify your account must be current. Past due balances will disallow participation in stock-balancing and guarantee programs. All of our merchandise however is fully guaranteed against defects in manufacture or workmanship. (Top)
Pricing: All gold prices are calculated by daily gold price using the 2nd London gold fixing of the day of shipment. All gold market prices are rounded up to $5 increments. For future orders, prices may be locked in with prepayment. For the purpose of this catalog, our prices will be calculated to $300.00 gold market; for each $5 increment up or down, please add or subtract 15 cents (14k) or 19 cents (18k) per gram to prices shown. All weights shown are approximate average weights and can change with subsequent production of that item. For invoicing an item we use actual weight of that item. Because we are subject to fluctuations in curren- cies and economic conditions, we reserve the right to change any and all prices at any time. It is our pledge to our customers that we will only change pricing as is necessary to maintain our ability to best serve you. (Top)
Discounts: Discount pricing is available for large orders, frequent buyers, wholesalers, and JBT #1 rated accounts. For details please call. We will not maintain discount pricing for accounts that are habitually slow payers, or for accounts that make frequent and unreasonable returns. (Top)
Returns: All claims for broken, damaged, or defective merchandise must be made within ten days of receipt. All returns must be accompanied by a photocopy of your invoice for proper credit. All returns beyond the maturity of its invoice can only be exchanged for credit towards future purchases on a gram-for-gram basis. Returns past payment due date to decrease payable amount will void your account, as these situations must be handled exclusively as exchanges on a gram-for-gram basis. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee for unreasonable returns. (Top)
Item Codes: We have made this catalog to comply with our computer program and invoices. If the first letter of a code is A the item is 14kt, B is 18kt, C is Platinum, and D is Sterling Silver. When ordering, if you specify quality (metal), then you may drop the letter prefix…i.e. ASPG40 is 14k Spiga 040 (Top)
